Precautions for restoring decorative ceiling tiles

Restoring decorative ceiling tiles is a fairly simple task, but a few precautions must be kept in mind to avoid damage to people, surrounding furniture and the floor. Since painting over the ceiling tiles is usually a part of restoring them, it is necessary to cover the floor, furniture and other things directly under the ceiling to be restored to prevent the paint drops from damaging them. Plastic sheets can be used to cover most things. Another important precaution is to wear safety glasses, to prevent the tiles’ ceramic dust from entering your eyes apart from paint, fragments of the tile etc.
