What Is Child Care

Child care is a service offered to working parents or those individuals who do not have time to stay at home with their children all day. This service is usually run by a licensed center with workers who have been certified to work with children.

Child care does not come free and usually is attached to a semi-high price. There are some places that are free because they are offered by the individual’s work.

The day at the child care center will consist of activities such as snack time, nap time, play time, and for the older children a period of educational activities, such as reading.

Many children look forward to going to child care because there are children close to their age who they can play with.
